Looking for a Novice Crew, Competent Crew, Mile building or Voluntary work position
Hello all, I'm new to this site but not to sailing, and i'm looking to crew on a transatlantic voyage. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew, Competent Crew, Mile building or Voluntary work. I've had experience on boats throughout my life, from vacations with family to working on boats to offshore sailing to Bermuda, so i'm very familiar with life on the water. I'm an easy going person and I love to explore and learn, so i work well with others and I'm very adaptable. In my last job I was the manager, so i'm good at problem solving, keeping watch, directing others, prioritizing, and self-managing. In addition to accomplishing the goal of sailing across the Atlantic I also want to become a better sailer and meet others who like to travel and spend time on the water. My availability is during mid-May through July, so i would love to find a crew position within that window of time. My location is in the DC area but I can travel if needed to find the right boat.
