Looking for a Friendship, Novice Crew or Voluntary work position
Hi everyone,
My name is César, I’m 37 years old, and I’m originally from Margarita Island, Venezuela. I speak English, Spanish fluent and also i have a basic knowledge of french. I grew up surrounded by the sea, but I haven’t been back to the Caribbean in almost 20 years. For the last 8 years, I have been living in Belgium, and lately I’ve been feeling a strong desire to reconnect with the ocean and return to the environment where I feel most at home.
I am new to sailing and eager to learn. I’m looking for opportunities as a Friendship Crew, Novice Crew, or Volunteer Crew member. While I don’t have extensive sailing experience yet, I am motivated, adaptable, hardworking, and always willing to help wherever needed on board.
One of my biggest dreams is to cross the Atlantic Ocean and rediscover the Caribbean islands. Having spent so many years away from the region where I grew up, the idea of returning by sea feels especially meaningful to me.
My long-term goal is to gain enough sailing experience to eventually buy my own sailboat and live aboard. It has been a dream of mine for many years. After spending nearly a decade in Europe, I feel the time is slowly coming to return to my natural habitat
I enjoy meeting new people, learning new skills, sharing experiences, and contributing positively to any crew. Whether it’s a coastal trip, a boat delivery, mile building, or an ocean passage, I would be grateful for the opportunity to learn, help, and be part of the adventure.
Looking forward to meeting fellow sailors and hearing about new opportunities.
