Seeking Offshore Miles
I'm a 40-year-old sailor with several years of cruising experience in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, English Channel, North Sea, and Norwegian Arctic. I hold ASA 101, 102, and 104 certifications and a VHF radio endorsement.
I've skippered charter yachts in the US Virgin Islands, Cyclades, Corfu, Kos, and the Aeolian Islands, and have additional experience as crew and first mate in the North Sea, English Channel, and Arctic Norway. I'm comfortable with navigation, passage planning, helming, sail handling, docking, anchoring, and general vessel operations.
I'm currently focused on building offshore and multi-day passage experience as I prepare for future bluewater cruising and long-distance passagemaking. I'm looking for opportunities to join deliveries, offshore races, and longer passages where I can contribute as an active and capable crew member while continuing to develop my offshore skills.
Reliable, safety-minded, easygoing, and happy to stand watches, cook, clean, provision, and assist with maintenance. I enjoy being part of a well-run crew and am willing to travel for the right opportunity.
