Looking for voulenteer/novice crew experiences
Hi!
I'm interested in a position on a boat willing to take on crew with modest experience. I'm not an entirely green sailor, I've sailed small boats (lasers, sunfish, etc., largest was perhaps 20ft or ~6 meters) around harbors and lakes etc., and worked as a deckhand on lunch/dinner cruises on the Hudson river, but I have never been truly at sea. In addition to these experiences, I'm a strong swimmer, I have a current first aid/cpr/aed certification, and I have worked as a lifeguard in the past. I'm very eager to learn more about sailing and gain miles.
I'm a hard worker, and eager to learn. I'm willing to travel globally, and would greatly appreciate an opportunity to explore a new place, country, or culture.
