I just joined Crewbay. Sorry about the pics - I know they look a bit grim but smiling for a selfie looks worse!
Mature but young at heart English traveller, looking to cross the Atlantic this coming season.
I have about 3000nm of sailing experience, mostly on yachts, including offshore and night passages. I'd really like to get some longer trips in to consolidate and build on the knowledge and experience I have gained so far.
I am happy to help with whatever needs doing on board - cleaning, cooking, helming, watch keeping, line handling, etc. I'm not bad at fixing things, and am child and cat friendly.
I'm easygoing and tolerant, and I've been told I'm good at fitting in around whatever is happening, and make an undemanding and companiable crew member.
Non-smoker, rare drinker, rarely seasick, insured for offshore sailing.
I love snorkelling, observing the natural world in general, and being at sea, be it coastal or offshore.
I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew, Novice Crew, Friendship or Mile building.
