Looking for a Novice Crew position
Reliable and active beginner crew member based in Eastleigh, UK, looking for Solent-based volunteer and weekend sailing opportunities.
I am First Aid certified and come from a 16-year career as a Lead Telecommunications/Broadcast Engineer. I am calm under pressure, physically fit, and a proactive technical problem-solver. My experience includes windsurfing, dinghy sailing, and an upcoming August tall ship voyage from Cherbourg to Portsmouth.
I speak Portuguese and English (with basic Spanish/Italian) and am happy to help with all tasks, from technical maintenance and watch-standing to galley cooking and ship maintenance.
Available 2 weekends/month. Have my own car and can travel to Hamble, Portsmouth, or Southampton easily. Eager to learn and build miles!
