Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship, Racing crew or Mile building position
Hi - I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew, Friendship, Racing crew or Mile building. Not opposed to volunteer work or other opportunities however.
I've been sailing since I was 14, but haven't put in many miles in the last 10 years, and only near shore, so I'm trying to fix that. No major certs, but will be working towards RYA ratings. Interested in acquiring a more complete sailing knowledge while enjoying the ride along the way.
Easy going, but I put in the work and learn fast. I can cook, I'm not a slob, and was a Scoutmaster and certified lifeguard instructor for 12 years. Retired solution engineer and master inventor so I'm pretty handy for repairs and tinkering as well.
