Looking for a Novice Crew, Friendship, Deckhand or Boat sitter position
Hi everyone! I’m excited to join Crewbay and connect with the community. I’m looking for opportunities as a Novice Crew, Deckhand, Boat Sitter, or for Friendship. Having been around power boats most of my life, I bring practical experience, including working at a marina as a deckhand and some experience sailing small boats. I am highly motivated to gain hands-on experience on power/sail boats, learn from experienced sailors, and meet nice people along the way!
A little more about me. I have worked in a school district with children for almost 16 years. Before that, I worked for several years in graphic design. Recently, last winter, I passed my PSIA Ski Instructor Level 1 Certification. I am a part-time ski instructor on the weekends in the winter at a small mountain near my home in Connecticut. I have two children, my son is 18 years old, and my daughter is 21 years old. Both who are off at college, thankfully!!
My personality is easy-going, open minded, high-spirited, likes to joke around and have fun, creative, hands-on, and an out-of-the-box thinker.
