Looking to join a Recreational Vessel Heading to Portugal as Novice Crew
Hi! I'm new to CrewBay but a long-time online lurker of the sailing community and a committed long/slow-travel hobbyist. I have hiked the Pacific Crest Trail and bike-packed across the USA and Europe, but have always wanted to try sailing as a form of slow travel. I am a complete novice (unless you can count 100 hours watching sailing videos on YouTube) but am used to shared labor, communal environments, and am a fast and enthusiastic learner.
I need to be in Lisbon on 19 September but have free time starting 24 August to get there. Ideally, I'd love to join your boat anywhere in Europe with the destination of Portugal generally within those dates. Happy Sailing!
