I’m a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with over 40,000 nautical miles of sailing experience across UK waters, the Mediterranean, Baltic and Caribbean. My experience includes offshore passages, yacht deliveries, cruising and racing, including multiple Round the Island races and a circumnavigation of the UK in my own Grand Soleil 43.
I’m equally comfortable as skipper, mate or experienced crew. I enjoy passage planning, navigation, watchkeeping, boat handling and working as part of a professional, positive crew. I’m calm under pressure, safety-focused, practical and always happy to muck in—whether that’s sail handling, maintenance or cooking.
Having recently stepped away from a senior leadership career, I now have the flexibility to spend much more time on the water. I’m looking for opportunities worldwide, whether that’s deliveries, cruising, expeditions or other interesting sailing projects. I enjoy meeting new people, sailing different yachts and continuing to build experience while contributing positively to every voyage.
