Looking for a Novice Crew, Voluntary work, Mile building or Delivery Crew position
Hi! I've recently joined Crewbay because I'm looking to build offshore miles the right way.
I'm a relatively new sailor with about 30 days under sail, ASA training, and cruising experience in the Bahamas and Greek Islands. More importantly, I bring nearly 30 years of experience as a firefighter, paramedic, flight medic, technical rescue professional, and helicopter crew member. I stay calm under pressure, work well as part of a crew, and enjoy solving problems.
Mechanically, I grew up on a farm and am comfortable with diesel engines, electrical systems, pumps, plumbing, hydraulics, fiberglass, fabrication, and general maintenance. I'm just as happy standing watch, cleaning the heads, cooking dinner, or helping troubleshoot a broken pump.
I'm financially independent, physically fit, easy to get along with, and I'm not looking for a free vacation—I'm looking to learn from experienced skippers and become the kind of crew member people invite back.
Available worldwide for deliveries, mile building, cruising, or training passages from 1–4 weeks (or longer by arrangement). Looking forward to meeting good people, working hard, and earning sea miles one passage at a time.
