Looking for a 1st Mate position
Experienced crew/skipper/waterman/adventurer
I have spent all my life all over the world; studying, working on the water, and sailing. I am an all around waterman, and love the mountains snow skiing biking and most things to keep me active and fit.
With thousands of miles logged under sail and power, alongside a background as an olympic sailor and offshore racer, I’ve built a solid foundation in professional and demanding environments that I’m keen to bring to a new crew. I'm seeking a permanent or rotational position with a well-run program, where I can develop my skills professionally, with the long-term goal of achieving captaincy ticket.
I’m well advanced at day-to-day exterior upkeep and guest activities, as well as supportive roles aiding the captain through passages, repairs, and vessel maintenance. My experiences have sharpened my eye for detail, quick problem-solving, and ability to mesh seamlessly into any crew.
I've developed experience in real, varied conditions at sea, have a calmness under pressure, and an ambition to develop my skills on the water and in professional yachting.
I look forward to having the chance to bring my skillset and contribute to a new vessel.
Volunteering: I'm always looking for unique ways of exploring the ocean, discovering new reefs, mountains, jungles, and surf breaks. Ideally I'd be looking to join an adventurous crew/captain heading out to explore seldom travelled places. I am a resourceful sailor, traveller at heart, professional, relaxed, and brilliant on the water.
