Experienced Day-Skipper looking for offshore passages & deckhand role
I am looking to join a crew on medium-to-long distance offshore passages, ocean crossings, or delivery trips to gain hands-on experience in blue water sailing and log sea miles.
Although I hold the Spanish Capitán de Yate certification and have professional experience as a day-charter skipper in Ibiza (Sunseeker Superhawk 50), I am fully aware of the difference between coastal motor navigation and offshore sailing. That’s why I am stepping aboard as an eager apprentice and committed deckhand.
What I bring to the boat:
- Maritime Experience: Strong background in boat maintenance, docking, line handling, night watches, and guest safety.
- Sea Legs & Life Aboard: As a certified Divemaster with liveaboard experience, I am well-adapted to living in confined spaces, maintaining routines, and dealing with sea conditions.
- Reliability & Attitude: I am 40 years old, mature, hardworking, and non-partier. I value a clean boat, good communication, and team spirit. I’m equally happy taking night watches, cooking, or helping with engine/deck maintenance.
I am flexible with dates and routes, fully self-funded for my own expenses, and ready to contribute to a safe and smooth passage.
