Looking for a Competent Crew or Deckhand position
Hi, I'm Marc Bauzon, a French deckhand who genuinely loves life at sea and gives 100% to every mission on board. I recently worked as a deckhand on passenger ferries in Brittany, where I mastered mooring operations and docking/undocking maneuvers in demanding conditions, tight schedules, tricky currents, and situations that call for quick thinking. I also picked up hands-on skills in naval carpentry and welding through a wooden boat restoration project, which gave me a real understanding of what a vessel goes through and why maintenance matters.
I'm also highly adaptable and confident in different situatuon : I've worked in very different environments, from maritime crews to youth outreach work and construction sites, and I've learned to read a team fast, find my place in it, and stay steady when things get complicated.
I speak French and Italian fluently, German and English professionally, and have working Spanish ,a real asset for working smoothly with international crews and passengers. But beyond languages, what I bring is energy: I connect easily with people, I stay calm under pressure, and I care about the team around me as much as the job itself. I'm not just looking for a job on a boat.
I want to build a real career at sea, and I'm ready to put in the work to earn my place on your crew.
