Looking for a Novice Crew or Friendship position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I’m looking to join a sailing boat heading towards French Polynesia around March/April 2027, ideally from South America or Central America. I don’t have sailing experience yet, but I’m very willing to learn and fully contribute to life on board, watches, cooking, cleaning, helping wherever needed and being part of the crew.
I’m an experienced teacher and educator and I’m very comfortable around children, so I could also be a good fit for a family boat that would appreciate help with childcare, homeschooling or activities during the crossing.
I’m easy-going, independent, practical and used to living and working in small communities. Before heading north for the Pacific crossing, I’ll be travelling through Patagonia and hope to gain some sailing experience along the way.
Most importantly, I’m looking for a safe boat, good communication and a crew that enjoys sharing the experience together.
