Looking for a Mile building, Voluntary work, Friendship or Novice Crew position
Hi, I’m Nigel, a 48-year-old British/Fijian currently based in Sydney, Australia.
Professionally, I’m an experienced consultant who has worked internationally, leading teams and projects across different countries and cultures. I’m responsible, organised, calm under pressure and comfortable working cooperatively with people from all backgrounds.
I have recreational sailing experience and am looking for coastal sailing, mile building or a Pacific passage aboard a friendly, safety-conscious yacht. I’m particularly interested in unpaid or shared-expense opportunities departing from Australia.
I’m physically fit, practical and easygoing. I’m happy to contribute fully with watches, sail handling, cooking, cleaning, expenses and everyday duties aboard while continuing to develop my sailing skills.
I’m flexible regarding dates, routes and destinations, including Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, New Zealand and the wider Pacific. Happy to meet beforehand, have a video call and provide references.
