Looking for a Captain/Caretaker, Yacht Caretaker, First Mate or Deckhand/Engineer position
Experienced sailor with over 10,000 NM of cruising experience on private sailboat, including offshore passages and extensive liveaboard experience throughout the Caribbean. Strong technical background in electromechanics, electrical systems, plumbing, pumps, solar systems, troubleshooting and general maintenance.
I am looking primarily for a paid Captain/Caretaker, Yacht Caretaker, First Mate or Deckhand/Engineer position, ideally with accommodation onboard. I am particularly interested in long-term positions caring for a privately owned sailing yacht or motor yacht in the Caribbean or Central America.
Reliable, hands-on, independent and comfortable taking responsibility for a vessel while the owner is away.
