Experienced sailing crew looking to sail, learn and build miles
Hi! I'm Pierre, 26, from France.
I have several years of experience sailing cruising yachts, including as owner and skipper of a Nicholson 32. I have sailed short-handed, at night and in sometimes demanding conditions, and I carried out much of the maintenance and refit of my boat myself.
I'm now looking to sail as much as possible, gain experience on different boats and with different skippers, and keep improving my seamanship. I'm interested in cruising, deliveries, offshore passages, racing and mile building.
I'm happy to take watches and be fully involved in manoeuvres, sail trim, navigation, maintenance and everyday life on board. I'm not looking to be a passenger — I want to be useful, learn and contribute to the crew.
My maritime English and Spanish are still a work in progress, and I'm actively learning the vocabulary and commands used on board. I'm completely transparent about that and motivated to improve quickly through real sailing experience.
