Experienced sailor looking to spend a few weeks aboard a larger yacht
Hi! I grew up in Friesland and Singapore and have been sailing since childhood, mainly on lakes and the Wadden Sea in the Netherlands. While living in Singapore I took sailing lessons at Changi Beach Club and sailed Lasers there. I’ve also made several trips from Harlingen to Vlieland and Terschelling.
I’m now looking to spend a few weeks aboard a larger sailing yacht to experience what life on board is really like, meet interesting people, see some new places and hopefully come back with a few good stories.
I’m happy to help with sailing, watches, cooking and general jobs on board. Ideally I’m looking for something relaxed and sociable rather than a full-time crew role, with some time to work on my laptop now and then.
Long-term I may want to own a yacht myself, so I’d like to experience the reality of living aboard first.
