Looking for a Delivery Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Delivery Crew.
I started sailing while serving in the British Army and have since gained extensive experience crewing and skippering a variety of yachts. I have sailed in the Baltic, Solent, Irish Sea, Mediterranean and English Channel, giving me experience in a wide range of sailing conditions and environments.
Alongside my sailing experience, I have worked as a Dinghy Instructor and Powerboat Instructor, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping others develop their skills.
I am also an England Boxing coach and keep myself fit, active and healthy. My background in the Army and Royal Navy includes experience as a Safety Officer, so I am comfortable taking responsibility, working as part of a team and maintaining a strong focus on safety.
I am now retired, which gives me considerable flexibility and allows me to accommodate different schedules, including late arrivals and changing plans.
I am first-aid qualified and up to date with my DBS, and I hold a current passport.
I am a reliable, adaptable and positive person who enjoys being part of a crew and contributing wherever I can. I am looking to join sailing crews where my experience, practical skills and easy-going approach can be put to good use.
