Rigger, electrician & paramedic — 3000+ NM, 2000+ as skipper. Free for Spain–Canaries passage Oct/Nov
By trade I’m a professional rigger, industrial rope access technician/instructor and certified electrician (including HV) — happy to go up the mast at sea, troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues on board, splice and repair rigging. I’m also a paramedic and registered rescue worker, so the boat gets a medic and a technician in one berth. On my last charter I diagnosed and traced a dead NMEA feed to the VHF — things get fixed, not just reported.
Looking for: an offshore passage of up to ~10 days this autumn (Oct–Nov 2026), ideally mainland Spain/Gibraltar/Portugal → Canaries or similar European leg. Cost sharing (food/expenses) welcome; not looking for paid work, not able to pay charter-style berth fees.
Fit, non-smoker, easy-going, comfortable with watch systems and light-wind sailing — I’m the guy who keeps the boat moving at 4 knots while others reach for the engine key. Cheap flights from Central Europe to Spain mean I can join on short notice.
