Looking for a Deckhand, Delivery Crew or Security Officer position
Hi, my name is Andrea and I'm from Italy.
I'm currently studying for my Italian unlimited nautical licence (Patente Nautica A senza limiti), which I expect to complete before the beginning of April 2027, and I'm looking to start building real experience at sea.
My main goal is to find an opportunity as entry-level crew, preferably on a sailing yacht, where I can learn from experienced skippers and crew, improve my practical skills and gain sea time and miles. I understand that I'm at the beginning of my journey, so I'm willing to start from the bottom, work hard, learn and help wherever needed on board.
I'm particularly interested in sailing, navigation, boat handling, maintenance and life on board. My long-term goal is to become a professional skipper, working mainly in the Mediterranean but also gaining experience outside the Mediterranean and internationally.
After completing my Italian licence, I plan to obtain the relevant STCW safety qualifications and continue building professional experience and sea miles. In the future, once I have gained the necessary experience and requirements, my goal is to work towards the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification.
I'm currently based in Italy and I'm open to opportunities that can help me take my first serious steps into the yachting industry.
I'm motivated to learn, gain experience and become a reliable member of a crew.
