Motivated Crew looking for a transat to Brazil
My name is Grégoire, I’m 30 years old, and I’m looking for a sailboat to cross the Atlantic to Brazil from November onwards.
My main goal is to reach Belém, and from there continue my journey through the Amazon towards Tarapoto, Peru. That said, I’m completely open to arriving at another port in Brazil depending on your route.
? A little about me:
I’ve lived abroad for almost 10 years and have travelled to every continent except Antarctica. I love travelling, meeting people and going on adventures — and I usually have a few stories to tell! ?
I have some sailing experience. I’ve been taking sailing lessons for over a month now, and I’ve also been spending a lot of time meeting local skippers and learning as much as I can in preparation for this trip. I’m really excited to learn more, get involved with the sailing and become a useful crew member.
On board, I’m happy to:
? Take watches and help with sailing and manoeuvres
? Keep the boat clean and organised
? Help with cooking and everyday life on board
? Contribute to the onboard expenses
?️ Help out and learn anything that could be useful
I’ve worked in luxury hospitality, so I’m used to taking care of a space and keeping it clean, comfortable and welcoming.
I’m easy-going, calm, curious and adaptable. I also spent a year living in a Buddhist community, which taught me a lot about living with others and being part of a community. I don’t drink or smoke, and I’m always eager to learn.
? I’m available from November and can join the boat in the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, or elsewhere depending on your route.
If you’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and curious crew member to share the adventure with, feel free to get in touch!
Looking forward to meeting you and, who knows, maybe seeing you soon on deck. ⛵?
Grégoire
