Seeking boat. Bringing enthusiasm and questionable Greek.
Hi! I’m 23 and in Athens for a semester abroad. University brought me here, but my semester could definitely use a boat.
I haven’t sailed before, so I’d be joining as a beginner. I’m keen to learn, happy to help with sailing and everyday tasks on board, and generally easy to get along with. I do a lot of sports and don’t mind getting stuck in. I’ve also started learning Greek (My Mom forced me until I started liking it) and will be taking a language course at university.
I’d love to experience what it’s like to head out to sea and explore some islands, but I don’t have a fixed route in mind. I’m flexible with dates and interested in anything from a day trip to a trip of up to two weeks.
I’m very happy to join a crew on my own and meet new people. A few other students I’ve met here would also be interested if there happens to be space, but that’s entirely optional. I’m looking for a friendly crew and an experienced skipper who’s comfortable taking a beginner. I’d be glad to help out and contribute to reasonable shared costs.
