Looking for deliveries, racing, engineering work, or a fun cruise. I'm racing and have a few thousand miles offshore.
I'm open for suggestions on sailing opportunities. I'm primarily looking for deliveries or racing but anything getting me out on the sea is interesting.
I have experience and knowledge to skipper most sailboats although thin on formal credentials. I am continuing to build blue water experience including weather routing, tides and currents. I'm a good first mate. For learning boat owners I can share knowledge about various aspects of sailing including sail trim.
My ambition is to get a captain's license and possibly pursue a marine engineering career.

I am dual US and EU citizen and can stay unlimited and work without visa in both these regions.
Electrical Engineer by trade.
Worked 8 years on development and service engineering for Cummins/Onan generator sets and associated electrical equipment. I also have experience maintaining marine propulsion diesel engines.
Served 18 months in the Swedish navy as radio and radar technician.
I'm fully vaccinated.

Pontus was my mate on delivery from Newport, RI to USVI. I could have a good sleep during his watches. I will be happy if he sails with me again. I hope this explains.
