Easy going....Safety First
I am 62 years old but not used up by any stretch of the imagination.
Have been boating since childhood, and sailing since my teens. Experience covers Great Lakes Erie, and Ontario, Atlantic Coast, Keys, and SW Florida Coast.
Recently delivered Manta 42 Catamaran from Beaufort NC to Merritt Island FL, and single handed a Pearson 303 from Baltimore to Savannah GA in the Winter Storm of Jan 9th. Have since returned the same Pearson 303 from Mainland FL to Worlds Fair Marina in New York City, also a single handed delivery, which involved some inside ICW travel and all outside from Beaufort NC out and around Cape Hatteras and offshore all the way to Sandy Hook NJ, New York Harbor, East River and Hell Gate.
Held a USCG 50 Ton License back in the 1980's but let it expire when I moved inland to NC. Am in the process of doing it all over again to get a USCG 100 ton Masters. Have passed all tests, and am in the USCG Application process. Hope to have my License back in time for the 2017 Spring Delivery season.
Currently own a Tartan30 based in the New Bern NC/Pamlico Sound area.
