Around Sydney day sailing and holiday cruising around Australia
Hi There,
I live in Sydney and I will be exceptionally available for the next 2 weeks ( from 12th December to 23rd December 2022), so if you are looking for crew/ new friendship please drop me a line!
Also available on 25th December and Boxing Day ( anyone going to watch Sydney Hobart start ??)
And at last but not least anyone going in Sydney Harbour for the NY Eve fireworks?
I was looking for a 2 months trip ( long service leave) and I have been very lucky to meet Andrew and Sue ( through Crewbay) …So in February March 2023 I will be sailing in New Zealand on their 55ft Bruce Roberts ketch. Soooo looking forward to it!
If you are in New Zealand let’s say Hi!
I really enjoy life aboard, with all respects due to Oceans and wildlife. Not being in a rush, I always prefer wind propulsion which means no fuel smell, no engine noise! Safety is important to me and I rather stay sheltered in a bay than affront elements. Also, very happy to stop anchoring in unexplored bays and go for a swim or a walk ashore.
In February 2022 I have completed circumnavigation of Tasmania on Silver Fern 72ft Yacht (10POB) and in the past 10 years I have done some long passages ( Hobart Sydney, Pittwater Kettering TAS, Southport Sydney, Newcastle Coffs Harbor). Also I spent 3 weeks cruising around Whitsundays ( from Thomas Island up to Hook reef Laguna and almost all islands in between, but I never crossed an ocean.
I am quite active and fit, enjoy playing beach volley ball and having a “meditation swim” in ocean pool before going to work and, of course with a French background I enjoy some good food and wine( Yes! I can cook!).
Please no smoking or party boats. I am much more prefer quiet sunsets watching.
Hope to meet you soon,
Happy Sailing!

"B" helped me sail from Sydney to Hobart and was an excellent crew. B also helped me make my new to me boat more homely and added a special touch to things. Always cheerful, ready to do her watch and most pleasant even when things get rough. I would have no hesitation in recommending B as crew and indeed hope to sail with her again one day when things aline. Geoff SY Halcyon VII (Passport 40)
