We share a passion for providing our guests with a holiday of a lifetime. Giving guests on board a truely local experience is our goal - the ocean, sailing, sharing hidden gems and creating beautiful dishes made from fresh local ingredients.
Lane
A qualified Yacht-master Offshore skipper with several charter seasons under my belt and a lifetime of experience on both power and sail boats. With an eagerness to share my knowledge of sailing, this gives the guests a hands on experience if they wish, this has been reflected in my previous roles where I was teamed up with new skippers to show them how to handle, teach and manage guests on board whilst keeping them safe in a relaxed holiday environment.
I am also a qualified Electrical fitter/ mechanic and have a strong interest in diesel engines.
In my current role, I am the production manager of a busy RV workshop. Alongside managing the worksop and staff, I am responsible for all 12 volt installations from simple electrical circuits to diesel powered ducted heating systems, dc/ solar charging systems.
Having completed roles as both a shore based and flotilla engineer as well completing diesel engine conversions as a hobby combined with my electrical knowledge is invaluable and easily transferable to roles where I am responsible for the maintenance and the condition of the yacht or fleet.
Having experience in both flotilla and the charter industry - I am well versed in close quarter manoeuvring; often organising and mooring dozens of boats in both marinas and rafting situations.
Jackie
Jackie completed her marketing and business degree in 2014, and has been working as a Business/Account Manager for around 6 years. Day-to-day Jackie works with clients on their marketing goals, pitching new projects, facilitating meetings, building relationships and managing budgets.
As Jackie’s role revolves around managing client expectations and forging strong relationships, a host role suits her to the tee. These skills have helped Jackie succeed in her previous ‘Host’ charter role - her warm and welcoming personality, along with well planned itinerary, helps guests feel at ease, ready for a holiday of a lifetime.
On board our charter catamaran in Greece and Croatia, Jackie was responsible for managing the guests check in, briefing, and cooking, as well as forging local relationships to offer our guests bespoke experiences.
Previous companies have leveraged our skills and experience to set up new charter routes and itineraries, establish relationships with local tour operators and restaurants and maintaining budgets for the wider team.
We understand the power of social media marketing, having organically grown business’ accounts to over 30k organic followers across several channels. This is something we would hope to work with the company on, showing an insight into “daily yacht life” and creating a “want” for any potential guests to experience a holiday just like this through platforms like instagram, instagram stories and Facebook,.
