CREW MEMBER / SCUBA DIVER looking for sailing experience
Hello, my name is Chase Blokker. I'm 27 years old, and a software developer who lives in San Francisco. I'm looking for recreational or amateur crew positions and can pay my own way. I'm easy to get along with, passionate about travel, love to cook, and very self-driven and independent. I'm mainly looking for a great adventure!
At the age of 12 and 13, I lived on a 50 ft Gulfstar Ketch with my parents as we sailed around Mexico and Central America. During this time, we logged 7k nautical miles. Our longest passage was 5 days across the Gulf of Tehuantepec. More recently, I crewed on a 50ft Voyage Catamaran from St. Maarten to Bonaire. I was a casual deckhand who helped with night watches, cooking, cleaning, sailing, anchoring, and docking. I'm passionate about the cruising lifestyle, and would love to be a helpful and enthusiastic crew member!
I'm advanced open water PADI certified.
