Slavek, RYA Yachtmaster with commercial endorsement, Sailing and Motorboat Yachtmaster
I gained my qualifications in the most difficult navigational waters in the world, Solent by the Isle o Wight, England and 12m tidal waters of Chanel Islands. My name is Slawomir, people call me Sam. I am Polish but moved several times during my lifetime so I feel more like citizen of the World. That fact probably pushed me to the open sea. I have certificate of Yachtmaster Offshore with commercial endorsement, which is Master of yachts up to 200 GT. In the last 10 years I gained lots of experience cruising Mediterranean, Baltic and the North Sea. With experience to skipper different vessels on charter and delivery. My last duty was to skipper charter cruises for GAdventures in Greece. Previous was to command sailing training cruises on tidal waters for RYA Training Centre based in Cowes, UK. I am looking for paid full-time or part-time jobs like cruises, deliveries etc. as a skipper or crew member. I am looking for sailing opportunities worldwide, but prefer Caribbean. I've been sailing since childhood and have my own saling boat in Amsterdam which I maintain myself, I am familiar with any boat work. I have mechanical experience maintaining diesel engines. I used to work as a guide and have lots of patience :) and good feedback from the crew of all ages. My advantage is thinking out of the box.
I am certified physiotherapist and have an experience in entertainment business. I studied tv and film realization and worked as a producer and writer of gigs, special events, tv shows and documentaries. I used to be a boy scout leader. My hobby is music, photography and movies. My sport hobby beside sailing is snorkeling, tennis and skiing. I also used to play ice hockey and football (soccer). I played volleyball and basketball and other athletics when I studied rehabilitation on Physical Academy.
