Deckhand, Delivery Crew, Mate, Race Crew, Mile Building
I am 27 years old and currently working on tallships on the West Coast of the United States. I am hard working with strong practical and common sense and a good sense of humor to go along with it all.
I have been sailing since 2005 in on the Potomac, as well as on lakes in Austria and the Chesapeake Bay. I learned to sail on ZK-10 rescue boats from the Austrian Navy which had been refitted with a centerboard and mast for sailing and have been in love with the water ever since. Since then I have progressively increase the size of boats I've sailed and worked along with my experience. In 2018, I crewed on a classic yawl for three months which included an 11 day ocean passage from New Zealand to Fiji, which too us through some rough weather, but we came out wiser and in good health on the other side.
My aim is to apprentice under experienced skippers, build up my blue water miles and days served aboard vessels in order to advance my maritime credentials.
