UPDATE Feb 2024. Back in Australia after sailing across the Pacific 2023. Need to be in Australia for the foreseeable future so looking for local sailing adventures Nth Qld. Lord Howe Island would be amazing!!! Very much missing my boat life.

In Feb, 2023 - i sailed from Panama via French Polynesia then onto the Cook Islands, Nuie, Tonga, Fiji and New Caledonia back to Australia. In 2014, I spent 9 months cruising Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomons, PNG and Palau. Spent 9 months in the Philippines caretaking a Robert's 53.
I spent over a decade working on professional fishing boats, completed a boat building apprenticeship, and spent most of my working life around boats and the waterfront - tall ships, port linesman, charter boats... The ocean is my life.
Love being part of a crew committed to providing a positive contribution to the well being of others on board and the smooth running of the boat. I like to explore, hang out with the locals, swim, snorkel, hike and sail. I can stand watches, will clean the hull, be an extra set of eyes, help with provisioning and stores, keep your boat organised, help research and organise permits and visas, be good company, laugh, have fun and just generally take every opportunity the cruising lifestyle provides. I have island girl skills, can drive a dinghy and play an island ukelele very badly.

Sherrin joined from Panama. 46 day crossing to Nuku Hiva. Very helpful. Knowledgable of yacht sailing requirements. Delightful nature. Confident on night watches. Keeps superb chart plot. Clean and tidy. Highly recommend as a crew on any boat. Would have continued with me, but my plans have changed. Simon
