Looking for an opportunity to learn new skills and live a life experience
AHOY everyone!
After having traveled various corners of the world in all kinds of ways – by train, car, airplane, hitchhiking, bicycle, on self constructed boats and by foot – my girlfriend and I are eager to learn something new! During our time in central America this spring, we met a lot of great people and several times we ended up discussing the alternative opportunity to travel as a crew member on a boat. Everyone who experienced it told us about the challenges to manage and their interesting time they spent working on a boat. We love to explore new ideas and to learn new skills and for that we’re looking now for an opportunity for this November to travel direction South America. We are completely new to the life on a boat but we are open minded, easy going, learn fast and are enthusiastic and motivated people.
Our background:
I’m 23 years old, coming from Switzerland and I finished my bachelor in Civil Engineering last summer. I’ve already worked abroad in Kenya, Bolivia and Canada, and I plan to continue my studies in Switzerland next year. I love traveling, outdoor activities, camping and learning new life skills.
From Québec City, Canada, Marie is a 25 years old woman that recently graduated with a Bachelor in Science degree in Geological Engineering. She likes outdoor activities such as skiing, telemarking, camping and biking, she plays guitar and loves to explore all the corners of the Earth. As she has travelled and worked in remote areas like Nunavut, Nunavik and Finland, she is now ready for a new adventure!
