Dutch sailor based in Singapore & Netherlands – available at short notice for ocean passages & deliveries worldwide
Experienced Dutch sailor, based between Singapore and the Netherlands, looking for yacht deliveries, ocean passages and offshore legs anywhere in the world, from one week to a month or more.
I can join at short notice, I pay for my own travel and happily share boat expenses. I’m not looking for paid work: I simply love being at sea.
Qualifications: RYA Coastal Skipper (practical), RYA Yachtmaster Offshore theory (Ocean theory in progress), ICC, VHF/SRC radio licence, ISAF Offshore Safety & Sea Survival, First Aid, PADI Advanced Open Water & PPCDL.
Experience: many North Sea crossings between England and the Netherlands, years of offshore and inshore racing (Fastnet, RORC and JOG races, Swan European Regatta, Cowes Week, Med classics in Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Palma), three months sailing in Antigua, plus skippered charters with family & friends.
On board I stand night watches, helm, navigate, trim and change sails, cook, clean and do my share of boat prep and maintenance. Fit, tidy, easy-going, rarely seasick, with my own offshore gear.
Where and when: Global and available from early January 2027 onwards.
