Looking for a Captain / Mate position / charter skipper
Hi - I have been working as Captain for past 10 years on mainly sailing yachts I am currently looking for either long or short term opportunities ideally on sailing yachts in the 40-100ft range. I have been working at sea for 30 years+. I currently own an operate our own custom 70ft sailing yacht ( http://www.sailingwithmisselle.com ) and I am looking for winter work anywhere in the world (October-May although this is very flexible). I have excellent technical skills with regard to mechanical, electrical, plumbing and carpentry so am able to look after and maintain and upgrade your yacht. Further I am an IYT Instructor and MCA Approved IYT examiner. I have also been successful with new owners undertaking familiarity and experience consolidation ventures on their vessels. Recently undertaking this with new inexperienced owners of a Lagoon 57 in Croatia. Additionally I have extensive project management skills to oversee yard work etc. Should you require any delivery work or run and operate your yacht as a charter captain for short period over the winter months, again I would be a great asset for any sail yacht owner. I am always looking forward to meeting new people!
