I'm looking for sailing opportunities around Europe in 2022 - short-term and maybe longer
Hi, I'm Uli. I took a break of my nomad life and I'm working living and working in Munich right now.
This year I would like to get on a sailboat again - not sure how things will turn out, but I am planning a longer holiday and some time of working remotely (I am working part-time as a writer for a small content-marketing agency.)
I can help out with a lot of things - from cooking and cleaning to hospitality/caring for guests (or elders), renovation work through to video production/video editing . Generally I am very sociable (even if I consider myself as an introvert who needs A LOT of time for herself which is partly where my fascination for sailing comes from).
I love the sea and I would love to level up my experience:
In 2016 I had spent my first nights on a boat in New Zealand and I loved it! It was an old fishing boat, but even the rough Tasman Sea couldn't put me off - I loved all about it - fishing, cooking, life on limited space...
In October 2018 I completed RYA competent crew in Greece which was an incredible experience! I loved it! I definitely want to learn more!
I'm looking for easy-going people. Of course, I'm aware that the tonality on a boat can be rough - this is also what I like about it:)
I grew up as a "landlubber", but I can't wait to spend more time on the sea. I want to learn more about the ocean, boats, sailing and everything related to it.
More about me?
I'm easy-going, but determined. I'm not good at small talk - I rather don't talk. Generally I'm not afraid of making my hands dirty (I cleaned lots of toilets in hostels and even built toilets in Fiji). I'm keen to learn, able to listen and usually I have a good receptivity. Also I like to cook (mainly vegetarian based, but I eat everything) and consider myself as creative in several matters.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you and meet you at some point.
Uli
