Looking for a Mile building, Delivery Crew or Novice Crew position
My fiance Kayla (29) and I (34) are based out of Brooklyn, NY. We are in the process of finding and purchasing a extended cruising vessel and are looking to build expereince while we work through the process.
We are both from Michigan and have spent extensive time on the water over the years. Both are in good shape and strong swimmers.
I grew up sailing the great lakes - mostly on day sailers (mono and cats). In my 20's gained expereince crewing a 38' monohaul in the Mediterranean (Greece and Turkey). Last season I sailed with the Brooklyn One cloud in New York Harbor (Melges 24 and J80s). I have an ASA 101 cert.
Kayla is new to sailing but has solid understanding of basic sailing principles and boat anatomy.
We are both professionally employees so looking for short term assisted passages - preferably on East Coast of US but we are flexible.
