Looking for a Novice Crew, Competent Crew, Racing or Voluntary work position
We are a couple from Barcelona. We are traveling around the world and it’s time for a new adventure! We are currently in New Zealand (Queenstown) but we can move to anywhere to embark. Our availability is from 1rst from August.
As background, I (Gil) have been passionate about sailing and the Ocean since I was a kid. My grandfather and my dad shared their love for it with me and I really feel like it is in my blood. I have sailed in the Mediterranean Sea and I was working as a sailing instructor the last five years. I hope to have my own boat some day. I (Susanna) have been learning how to sail on the weekends last summer. Although I don't have much experience operating a boat but I'm a quick learner and always willing to try. Highly interested in gaining some sailing experience! I like exploring new and exciting places and having fun in general. I'd be more than happy to offer help and good company, and share life experience along the journey.
We have spent a lot of time traveling so we find it easy to connect with most people. We are interested in travelling and discovering, every day, new things that the world has to offer. We are interested in sharing our experiences with others. We´re easy going, thirst for adventure & sailing. Can offer (hopefully) engaging and intelligent conversation, cooking, boat maintenance and sharing our homes (Barcelona & Menorca Island) with you. We would love to help with anything that is needed, we are very willing to learn, experience the sea life and meet new people who are living the dream and hear their stories and learn from their experiences.
