Currently seeking a temp or permanent position as stew or deck/stew on board a sailing or motor vessel.
I have over 2 years of experience in the industry working interior and exterior. My most recent position was that of lead deck/stew which had me involved in every aspect of the boat and her running. Cleaning, detailing, polishing, cooking, repairs and maintenance, provisioning, administration and casual service were all some of my responsibilities.
I am currently looking for a position as deck/stew or 2nd Stew or any other interesting opportunities. I have the next 2 months available, and then available again from January 2020. A rotational position or a boat that has a quiet December where I would be allowed to take leave is what I'm seeking.
I am a cheerful and happy person, enjoy a good laugh and avoid drama and negativity at all costs. I love working at sea, I'm a quick learner and eager to learn as much as possible and be put to good use.
