Head west, build miles and have a great time!
CURRENTLY IN Galapagos, going to the Marquesas with the WorldARC.
The first step in the RYA system has been made as a Dayskipper. I would now like to help aboard, get some experience, build up miles and laugh a lot along the way!
I am confident on most sailing vessels, and have crossed the Atlantic with the ARC. I love to prepare the boat, cook, do the dishes, trim the sails, stand watch and enjoy the company and surroundings along the way.
It is special to be invited into someone’s home to join in on an experience. I want to make it unforgettable together!
I started sailing as a young kid, together with my family. My love for the sport grew to a point that I can no longer think of a life without it. For a long time I was sailing mostly on dinghies and small yachts. While I was in university I also taught others the beauty of sailing. However for the past 8 years I got involved in sailing on cruiser yachts, regattas in New Zealand and Spain as well as leisurely sailing and deliveries in The Netherlands and Brazil. Experiences that I want to take to a higher level! Hopefully, Yachtmaster is next.
I would like to go west, flexible on the route. Don't mind sharing some costs either!
I will be joining a boat until the Marquesas, looking for another boat from there!
