Watch: Tom and me - the pure joy of freediving
Looking for a Crew, Diver, Photgrapher position
Hi! I'm interested in finding a position as an Amateur Crew, Voluntary work, Mile building, Freedive Instructor, Photographer, Videographer, Amateur cook. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I was certified as a skipper in March 2019, not new to the sea. I'm a freediving instructor. I'm living and teaching in Eilat (Red Sea).
Lived 9 months (3+6) in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Where halftime we've lived in a camp, 100 km from any city. But 30 meters from the sea of Cortez. This is where I understood how much (more than I knew) I love the whales when I've met them.
I have got a skippers certification from IMOT (Israeli Ministery Of Transport). But sailed only the Red Sea so far. I realize this doesn't say "competent crew", but I'm a fast learner.
I do love photography and videography. Had attempts at vlogging and blogging, dealing with freediving. And would definitely be happy to continue with it if I'd have the chance to show people what I will see.
As for boarding. I live in Eilat, but it's easy for me to travel to the center of the country where there are few marinas to choose from (that's if you are planning to visit Israel. Also the nearby countries of the Mediterranean. I'm definitely open to suggestions from seas all over the world. But that would depend on my budget at the time. I'm not always capable to afford the ticket.
I've been told this might be relevant; I'm (how shall I put it?) not tall enough to knock my head on anything. And my permanent living space is fairly small with a minute kitchenette. So I'm not new to these conditions.
Took a medical course and currently volunteering in MaDA (Magen David Adom) the equivalent of the Red cross.
So if I'll ever find a boat to crew with - I can provide some level of medical support :)
***Israeli passport holders are currently granted visa-free entry into all the countries in Europe, including European Union and Schengen member nations.
I'm always happy to talk things over.
Feel free to contact me.
