Looking for a Lead Deckhand, 1st Mate, Bosun or Captains position
I am currently moving into my 3rd year in the yachting industry.
My previous position was Tender Driver/Deckhand driving a 10.5m twin screw tender.
I have experienced two winter periods and being on the hard twice.
Over the summer of the 2019 Mediterranean season, I worked as a sole deckhand and stew that takes care of service and light cleaning on the interior. With regards to my duties as deckhand I do all the mooring, anchorage, exterior maintenance, logging, basic engine work, maintenance, all the tender operations are in my control, encompassing water sports, guests collection, supplies and much more, as well as basic repairs around the boat. I have gained a valuable amount of skills and knowledge over the last season and believe I would be an asset to any vessel.
Post season work encompassed things such as taking care of repairs, wear and tear, bilges, painting the engin room plus lots more.
I am a hard worker and respect others and my environment. I am always willing to help out in every department. The boat was run similar to charter where it is divided into 3 owners and they all have their periods with their guests. I am used to late hours and early mornings with little rest between turnover. As it stands I have over 4000nm. I have done numerous solo night watches and navigation as well as I have been in control of the boat on many occasions.
I would love the opportunity to continue to grow and learn on any vessel. I am a very quick learner with an eye for detail and can adapt very well to all situations.
