Couple with PER (Skipper License) looking for sailboats during summer 2026 in Mediterranean Sea - both teachers!

Hi! We are sea lovers Júlia (31) and Sergio (35), high school teachers from Catalonia. Júlia teaches Biology and Maths, and Sergio teaches Catalan and Spanish language and literature. We are looking for opportunities to crew on a sailboat during Easter holidays or in summer (July/August).

We both hold the PER (Spanish Day Skipper license), have sailing experience, and we don’t get seasick. We are calm, responsible, non-smokers, and always willing to help on board.

⛵ Last summer we spent almost 40 days sailing in the Mediterranean Sea: in July, from Antibes to the Costa Brava, and in August in northern Greece to continue learning. We have also done several day sails, a couple of crossings from Barcelona to Mallorca, and a one-week trip in summer 2024 from Cádiz to the Algarve, sailing up the Guadiana River.

We are very motivated, eager to keep learning, and happy to gain sailing hours and experience. We don’t consider ourselves experts — we are still learning — but we are committed, reliable and respectful crew members. References from skippers we have sailed with are available upon request.

In exchange, we can help with cooking, watches (including night watches), general boat tasks, and we also offer Catalan, Spanish, Biology or Maths lessons if there are children or teenagers on board.

Hola! Som la Júlia (31) i en Sergio (35), professors de secundària i grans amants del mar. La Júlia fa classes de biologia i matemàtiques, i en Sergio de llengua catalana i castellana. Busquem gent que ens pugui acollir per navegar durant Setmana Santa o aquest estiu (juliol/agost).

Tots dos tenim el PER, certa experiència navegant i no ens maregem. Som tranquils, responsables, no fumem i sempre estem disposats a donar un cop de mà.

⛵ L’estiu passat vam passar gairebé 40 dies navegant pel Mediterrani: al juliol d’Antibes fins a la Costa Brava, i a l’agost al nord de Grècia per continuar aprenent. També hem fet diverses sortides d’un dia, un parell de travesses Barcelona–Mallorca i una setmana navegant l’estiu de 2024 de Cadis a l’Algarve, remuntant el Guadiana.

Tenim moltes ganes de continuar aprenent, fer hores i guanyar experiència. No ens considerem experts, estem en procés d’aprenentatge, però som persones responsables i compromeses. Podem facilitar referències de patrons amb qui hem navegat si cal.

A canvi, oferim ajuda a la cuina, guàrdies (també nocturnes), tasques generals a bord i classes de català/castellà i biologia/matemàtiques si hi ha infants o adolescents.
