I'm originally from Liverpool, but I've spent most of my adult life in London, working in theatre. Coming from a nautical town, I've always daydreamed about exploring the seas (and even the oceans, when I've felt more bold), and, after years of working in offices, I finally want to stop dreaming it and start living it.
I'll be completely honest - besides reading several Joseph Conrad novels, I have no boating experience. I'm immensely eager to learn however, and I'm quick to learn and diligent. I'm also easy to get on with (I've been told!) and am a good problem solver. I'm also a good cook.
Really, the reason I'm on here is to get experience, and eventually explore the world, port by port. I now work freelance, remotely; whilst it's not very lucrative, I should be able support myself from anywhere in the world with an intermittent internet connection.
