My name is Russ and I am looking for crewing opportunities. I have a lifetime of boating experience from ski boats to chartered 50-foot mono hulls, catamarans and power boats. I have completed several Atlantic and Pacific crossings. I have also undertaken several delivery trips up and down the East Coast of the US and have done so in all types of weather and in spring, summer and late fall.
I am a PADI certified Advanced Open Water diver with experience in both cold and warm water but I far prefer the warmer water (who wouldn't). I have considerable experience with mechanical, electrical and radio/electronics systems and possess a United States, FCC General Class Commercial Radiotelephone Operators license.
I am a confident swimmer, unlikely to be seasick, good communicator with no body piercings, no facial piercings, and no tattoos. I travel light (little luggage), respectful, clean & tidy, committed, eager to learn & work, fit & healthy, friendly, polite, diligent, positive outlook, skilled, organized, discreet, trustworthy, open minded, easy going, sense of humor.
While I am comfortable working on boats of all sizes.
