COC 200 gt 150 miles offshore power looking for a 600nm qualifying trip in 2026.
Update Nov 2025. Contracted now for the foreseeable future but looking for a qualifying trip for my Ocean nav in 2026. I’m not worried about being paid. I just need a boat that is looking for crew. I need a 600nm trip and at least 4 days 50nm from shore. So any boats heading to the med would be grand. I have to fit around work but hopefully I can help somebody out.
Looking for Skipper/engineer post, delivery work, temp, rotational and permanent work. All things considered. Anything interesting will get my attention too.
I will be available from the end of Sept. Looking for skipper work on a 50/50 rotation preferred. Short term contract work and any other type of contract considered. Master 200 COC and I have spent the last 6 months working on the Hornsea offshore Windfarm, out of Grimsby for a large CTV company and the previous year on a 20m cargo/pilot vessel working out of Brixham in almost all conditions. A very busy and dynamic boat and over 1000+ ships a year serviced for deep sea pilots. Working a 4 day on 4 day off 24 h shift.
I am looking for a boat to manage/operate for an owner that needs skipper that can cover most bases. A skipper with a long engineering background.
Open to suggestion :) the more interesting the better.
Based in Southwest UK but happy to travel for rotational work or interesting opportunities.
