I am a nonsmoking nondrinking nontattooed nonpierced postgraduate, with VHF, ENG1, STCW A-VI/1 Basic safety training certificate and A-VI/6 Proficiency in Security Awareness, skipper certificate, PADI open water, seaman book and Spanish passport seeking 3-4 weeks internship alongside captain to assist in tidal offshore passages, in up to 24 meters motor yachts: watches, planning, safety, deck equipment inventory.
My skipper certificate is called "Capitan de yate" and got issued by Government of Spain. The commercial attributions attached to this certificate are as follows: up to 24 meters recreational vessels and jet-skis and limited to beach lifeguard, sea trials, towing and transport of goods and up to 6 passengers up to 5 miles offshore. Besides that this certificate also qualifies me with no commercial endorsement as follows: no geographical constraint, jet-skis and large recreational power and sailing vessels with Spanish flag: up to 3000 GT and 12 passengers.
I would be happy to work in any up to 24 meters motor yacht by sharing the daily duties along with the rest of the crew to help with anything that is required to deliver a boat anywhere.
I am a Spanish citizen currently located in Madrid (Spain). I can fly anywhere where your boat is. I speak Spanish, English and German.
Working with you I could keep on learning practical skills and building miles. For the time being I have not logged much more than 300 nm. I look forward to getting to know about your plans.
