Looking for deckhand positions
I can be available as you need and at a moments notice and seeking positions as a deckhand. So far I have 5000nm (offshore sailing) on 48’ and 50’ Cats in the last two years (2018-2020) from the USVI’s to Miami and Fort Lauderdale. I am very competent on solo night watch and storms, as well. Some of my other experiences have been sailboat racing during a summer in Traverse City, MI, wildland firefighting in the N, W and SW of the states out of Utah, building massive log homes out of the black hills, SD, 4 years in all aspects of boat repair and Chris Craft restoration, personal trainer, and for the past 8 years have been climbing trees as an arborist. Also, I’ve spent 3 years in school and on an internships out of the maritime academy campus in Michigan for underwater engineering technology, underwater mapping using acoustic sonar, 3D scanning, and ROV technologies.
