Looking for reinvigoration after years of international business and law ... and divorce
Hi. My name is Russell. Just (08 Nov 2019) off a Lagoon 450 after a passage (paid first mate) from the Mediterranean via the Canaries to the States. Now in Fiji about to head to Micronesia. Anyway. Born and raised in Hawaii, sailing throughout the islands, racing every weekend and luckily crewing on a returning Clipper Cub racer to Newport Beach enable me to learn and enjoy the ocean and its glories. Father also born and raised Hawaii, experienced in racing, teaching me and others and cruising, continuing to do so around the world, where I luckily joined him for weeks on end in the Caribbean, Pacific and eastern Mediterranean as chief crew and later substitute captain when he got into his eighties. I have traveled the world for business over decades and pleasure throughout life, doing well enough in international law and transactions that I can now do what I like best. Sail, explore and be around people who are either like me (escaping the suit and tie life), just having fun or moving in new directions. Of course, a divorce five years ago has also allowed me to journey anew. Anyway, new places and new adventures, and available for however long and wherever. Very calm, very open, very chill. Russell

Disapointing to leave a negative review. Having agreed to crew for the trip South he didn't turn up, failed to respond to emails, failed to respond to phone calls. Too many unreliable people on these sites there needs to be a way for skippers to sort the wheat from the chaff before committing a berth to an unreliable crew seeker
