Interested in sailing adventure if a good opportunity comes up (central america mainly)
Looking around for sailing possibilities end october - mid november 2026. I have three months between jobs from october to jan, and my loose plan is to head to central america for surf and explore, hopefully meet some friends on the west coast of mexico by december. If it is works out i might be looking for a spot for my partner as well. He is a carpenter and engineer and very handy!
I am an adventure seeking norwegian, currently living in Tromsø, northern Norway. I enjoy surfing (my main goal for central america), climbing, skiing, generally having an active life style. I'm used to a simple life style with a couple of years of van living, but now live maybe too comfortably with a office job and house. I have a masters in marine biology with a big interest in wild life and the environment, currently working with nature conservation.
I got some good experience when sailing in 2019 from New Caledonia to New Zealand, with a good 8 days ocean crossing and a total of 1300 nm, with solo night watch. In 2023 i worked as crew on a catamaran, hosting turist around Tromsø and Lofoten. I have had some sailing courses, been on sailboats now and then trough my childhood and 20s But the latest year a bit too little of this, so i want to get back into it and I'm very eager to learn more.
